Jack Higgins Once more the same old same old from Higgins the books are getting overly formulaic not to mention repetitive with these old Nazi’s characters, exactly the same setting as the Bormann one. I am surprised they didn’t bump into each other on the way out of the Bunker. Listenable and in parts entertaining but mostly filler. ★★☆☆☆ Readable, just

Jack Higgins A nice change of direction on this one, About the nephew of a NY mafia Don and his personal side line in crime and his murder of the Presidents security guy’s ex-wife who was investigating for a story. Sean and gang come long to even the score. ★★★★☆ Good read
Jack Higgins I enjoyed this one. Spread over many years in which the illegitimate daughter of the now US president is the target of a secretive Jewish faction intent on forcing him into a destructive conflict. ★★★★☆ Very good
Jack Higgins Another front loaded book lighter in the middle, quickly and overly simply wound up at the end. Too much rambling dialogue for my taste and not much of whity Sean in this one at all. This was an audiobook version and the narrators limited and annoying Northern Irish accent wore me down, and all the male characters sounded the same. ★★★☆☆ Okay but not great

Jack Higgins Third of the Sean Dillon series and a very nice tale starting in the 40’s and ending in the 90’s about the hunt for a document offering an extension on the Hong Kong treaty. ★★★★☆ Reccomended
Jack Higgins This is the second Sean Dillon book and unlike the first I found both the character and the story very enjoyable. Strong character cast in this one and an interesting believable story. ★★★★☆ Recommended
Frederick Forsyth Not one of his best the book rambles and drifts from place and time to place and time. A lot of back stroy but not a lot of clarity. The end wrapped it up a little too neatly. ★★★☆☆ Okay mostly
Frederick Forsyth Cold war spy thriller set in the 80’s about a suspected plan to attack the UK to influence an upcomming election and install a hard core pro Russian Labour government. Going to read the full version another time. ★★★★☆ Enjoyable read
