SSH copy keys from Windows

I have recently been setting up an old Mac Mini as Webserver and NAS server. One of the things I wanted to do was enable ssh key pair login and wonderd how one used ssh-copy-id on a Windows machine to get the public key from a local machine to the server. It turns out you can’t but the cat command can do it just fine. Here is the template: C:\Users\<user>\.ssh\ | ssh <user>@<remoteserver> cat >> ....

Settling in slowly

It is now nearly two months since we moved and I am slowly starting to settle back into. my working routine. The new office is much larger than the previous one and is starting to take shape, most things have a place and I am quite happy with the arrangement. I have been busy mostly organising files and drives. Trying to set up a NAS drive which didn’t work out too well as it was really only an SSD on a Fritz Box....

Sorting Things Out

After a month and a half in the new house I am slowly starting to get things sorted and can proceed once more with some work. This year has be hectic to say the least and has been a huge drain on my time. I am intending to start making video tutorials again but I don’t know if I will manage it this year.

Picked Up the Keys

Finally after what seemed like ages we got the keys to our new place. Once more we are living on a major river. his time the river is the Elbe. Previously, in Berlin, we lived on the Spree, interestingly the Spree runs into the Elbe. So we have come full circle, well full flow would be more correct in this sense. There will be a lot of setting up to do after the movers drop our stuff, but once it is sorted I will have a nice large office for my studio space....
